After spending seven years enjoying the
BHOS experience from the audience, Duncan was press-ganged into the society for
the '96 produciton of Pirates of Penzance. SInce this ignominious start he has
thrown himself (sometimes literally!) into everything the society has done and
has rarely missed a chance to take a curtain call. Principal roles include Herr
Zeller (Sound of Music),
George Kittredge (High
Society), Chitterlow (Half a Sixpence), The Mikado (Hot Mikado), Wild Bill
Hickock (Calmity Jane),
Sir Despard Murgatroyd (Ruddigore, pictured), Bernado (West Side Story), Tony
del Toro (The Godfather's
Gondoliers), Mr Bascombe (Carousel), and Joe/Josephine (Sugar)
Dunk is our
resident graphic designer, and has designed all the society's posters and
programmes since 1996.... there probably isn't any more that can be said that
isn't vividly portrayed in the photo!!!
